Scrutinize Campaign hits Khayelitsha

scrutinize_crowd_largerJHHESA in partnership with the Western Cape – Department of Health will be hosting a Scrutinize Training and Mini Event in Khayelitsha.  This event will see to the training of 250 peer educators on Scrutinize!

Scrutinize campaign is an HIV prevention effort which uses dance, song, painting and edutainment to educate people about the dangers of concurrent multiple partnerships, transactional sex, alcohol and HIV, among other issues.

Funded by USAID/PEPFAR and presented by Johns Hopkins Health and Education in South Africa, and other civil society partners, Scrutinize Campus Campaigns is a joint effort that aims to reach young people in campuses throughout South Africa, to equip them with information on how they can help reduce HIV infections.
